is a church planting catalyst for the North American Mission Board. He works with the California Southern Baptist Convention to start churches in California. Kirk’s primary objective is to catalyze healthy, evangelistic Southern Baptist church plants in the Inland Empire.
Kirk strives to have his church plants “encoded with the DNA” to reach the lost with the gospel to produce new believers, make disciples and transform communities. He mobilizes partner churches to effectively assist the development of new congregations.
He has planted, or assisted in planting, more than 40 churches nationally and internationally. In Haiti, Kirk has helped plant 12 churches, build and organize two orphanages and a school. He has worked with Southern Baptist Convention International Mission Board and other mission agency personnel to help plant churches in Greece, Brazil, St. Vincent, Panama, Japan, Costa Rica, Mexico, Canada, Philippines and Wales.
Kirk is married to Tamra and has three sons.
